The EDUFAX Educational FAQ

I am interested in TRANSFERRING.....

Question #6:
  • How do I begin the transferring process ?
Answer #6:
  • Most colleges have a Dean of Transfer Admissions or an office which handles transfer. Ask for all relevant information and a transfer application. The transfer application is usually similar to the freshman application, but it generally includes an essay on why you want to transfer.
Make a list of schools just as you did before, but include the criteria you have developed since starting college, for example: now I want smaller classes, larger music department, etc'. Use the same process -- investigation, application, anticipation -- that you did for freshman entry. (by way of GOCOLLEGE)
EDUFAX provides services for the Transfer Student.
