Why aren't all my credits accepted for transfer at some schools? (courtesy Eui-Chul Chung, Martin, TN)

Answer #12:

Every school has different requirements. Some accept all coursework; others are very specific about which courses receive credit in their system. This includes public as well as private institutions of higher learning. By speaking with the admissions officers at the schools which interest you, you should be able to ascertain what they are looking for in a transfer student and which courses will count if you are accepted.
