The EDUFAX Educational FAQ
I am interested in SAT/PSAT/ACT.....
| Question #70: |
- I am in tenth grade, and will be taking the PSAT in
October, as a 'practice run'. Will I be able to get my scores early
enough to find out what my weaknesses are so that I can improve my
scores on the 'real test' next year?
|
| Answer #70: |
- The PSAT scores are usually distributed six weeks after the testing
date. Since you are taking the test as a sophomore, it is considered
a practice test only. You will not compete in the Merit Scholarship
pool. The question and answer printout, however, can be very helpful
for identifying the areas which need work. Then you can develop a
plan of study to develop those areas before the 'real PSAT' in
October of your junior year. When you take the PSAT/NMSQT as a
junior, your scores will automatically enter the Merit Scholarship
pool.
EDUFAX provides Verbal Test Prep Tutorials (PSAT/SAT I/SAT II/ACT).
