The ACT is graded on a composite score from 1 to 36. A score of 26 or over is considered "good". Nationally acclaimed colleges/universities will look for students scoring on the high end, others are more moderate. For some schools, ACT or SAT scores are optional.
You can find a listing of test prep books and CD-ROMS available on the Internet and compare their prices, on the EDUFAX site .
