The EDUFAX Educational FAQ
I am interested in SAT/PSAT/ACT.....
| Question #57: |
- Can I take the PSAT more than once without being penalized ?
|
| Answer #57: |
- You can take the PSAT in your sophomore year and in your junior year, but only the scores from the juniour year administration are valid for the National Merit Scholar Programs. There is no penalty for taking the test more than once. In fact, it's a good idea to take the PSAT in the sophomore year so that you can define your
strengths and weaknesses and prepare for the "real" test.
You can find a listing of test prep books and CD-ROMS available on
the Internet and compare their prices, on the EDUFAX site.
