The EDUFAX Educational FAQ

I am interested in SAT/PSAT/ACT.....

Question #56:
  • Should I prepare for the SAT II or take the AP course ?
Answer #56:
  • Ideally you should do both. A challenging curriculum (including AP, IB, and Honors courses) is a very important part of the initial assessment done in a college admissions office. On the other hand, your scores on the SAT IIs represent your academic productivity, i.e.: what did you learn in those challenging courses? This is not a question of choosing one over the other.
Buckle down and do your best on both courses.
You can find a listing of test prep books and CD-ROMS available on the Internet and compare their prices, on the EDUFAX site.
