The EDUFAX Educational FAQ

I am interested in SAT/PSAT/ACT.....

Question #25:
  • Will colleges consider my highest math and verbal ACT scores, if they were not from the same test? (courtesy Jill Ungar, Deerfield, IL)
Answer #25:
  • I have never heard of such a policy for the ACT, since colleges generally assess prospective students by one number only - the composite score.
However, if you believe that splitting the sections would give you a higher standing, call the colleges to which you have applied and discuss their policy.
EDUFAX provides Verbal Test Prep Tutorials (PSAT/SAT I/SAT II/ACT).
