The EDUFAX Educational FAQ

I am interested in SAT/PSAT/ACT.....

Question #17:
  • I'm a freshman and wonder when is the best time to start studying for the SAT and how should I prepare for it ?
Answer #17:
  • It is never too early to start preparing for the SAT. Buy a vocabulary book and start learning new words at a slow but steady pace (2 to 3 a day). Take the PSAT both in sophomore and junior years to familiarize yourself with the test format. In your junior year, buy a computer program or a test prep book and start doing sections of the tests on a weekly basis. By the time you take your "real" SAT in May or June of your junior year, you should be well prepared. May the scores be with you!
Use the EDUFAX search engine to find Books and Software to assist you in preparing for the PSAT/SAT I/SAT II/ACT.
EDUFAX provides Verbal Test Prep Tutorials (PSAT/SAT I/SAT II/ACT).
