I am interested in returning to college. I took the ACT 10 years ago. Do I need to retake the test?

Answer #23:

Some schools will accept standardized test scores 10 years old or older, but most will require more recent documentation of your skills. Make a list of the schools which interest you and contact the admissions offices to ask about their policies. Many schools have different admissions requirements for non-traditional age students. Have you ever gone to college? If you started and then left, it might not be necessary for you to resubmit your ACT scores. EDUFAX provides services for the Adult/Non-Traditional/Re-entry Student.
