The EDUFAX Educational FAQ
I have a LEARNING DISABILITY.....
| Question #8: |
- Are there any programs to assist dyslexic students in preparing for the SAT ?
|
| Answer #8: |
-
Dyslexic students can be granted the benefit of extra time while
taking the test, but I do not know of specific programs designed
with such learners in mind. It has been my experience that different
learners do best with one-on-one tutoring by an education
professional who is familiar with the student's learning needs as
well as the demands of the SAT. The study skills, time management
skills, and concentration skills taught to most dyslexic students
are extremely important to the successful completion of such
lengthy standardized testing.
EDUFAX provides services for the Collegebound Learning Disabled Student.
EDUFAX provides Verbal Test Prep Tutorials (PSAT/SAT I/SAT II/ACT).
