The EDUFAX Educational FAQ

I have a LEARNING DISABILITY.....

Question #16:
  • Are there any colleges in the New York City area that provide for LD students ?
Answer #16:
  • All colleges are bound by law to provide services for LD students, but some do so more competently than others. You need to research schools which have the fields of study that interest you and which accept students in the range of your academic status. Then you should meet or converse with the Coordinator of Learning Services at each college to see what supports are offered and to decide whether or not they can accommodate your needs.
If this process sounds too daunting for you, find an educational consultant with experience in placing LD students. You could also use the EDUFAX services for the LD Student.
