The EDUFAX Educational FAQ

Question #1:
  • Are there special accommodations for students with ADD taking the ACT ? (courtesy Margo Hoffman, New Orléans, LA)
Answer #1:
  • There are no LD accommodations for the ACT, but it is generally an easier format for students with language-based learning differences. Your best bet is to speak directly with the ACT people. They make accommodations in individual cases, but there are no blanket categories of accommodations such as the SAT offers with extended time and untimed tests.
For more information, you can contact the ACT online.
    EDUFAX provides services for the
    Collegebound Learning Disabled Student.
