The EDUFAX Educational FAQ
I am an INTERNATIONAL, FOREIGN STUDENT interested in applying to an American college.....
| Question #8: |
- I am interested in graduate school in Spanish in the US. I am currently a Spanish linguistics student in Spain. Can I work as a lecturer while I study ? (courtesy GOCOLLEGE)
|
| Answer #8: |
-
Most American colleges and universities honor degrees from accredited
schools all over the world. If you are studying for a master's degree
in the US, it is possible that you would be offered a graduate
assistantship in which you might teach small groups of students after
the professor has given a lecture. If you plan to continue in Spanish
linguistics, I suggest you ask your current professors where such
studies might be pursued in the US. They should be aware of prime
sources of scholarly literature.
