The EDUFAX Educational FAQ
I am an INTERNATIONAL, FOREIGN STUDENT interested in applying to an American college.....
| Question #6: |
- I am an international student interested in graduate
school in Biology. My TOEFL is under 520. What are my chances?
|
| Answer #6: |
-
Graduate programs in Biology are very competitive. You would have to
work hard to convince schools that you can keep up with the work
because they usually require a TOEFL score of at least 600. Sometimes, students can show that they are fluent in English but are not
comfortable with standardized testing. You should probably study for
the TOEFL and take it again if you want to improve your chances.
