The EDUFAX Educational FAQ
I am an INTERNATIONAL, FOREIGN STUDENT interested in applying to an American college.....
| Question #16: |
- I am an American citizen and have been living abroad
for the past 9 years. Do I have to take the TOEFL? (courtesy Cristina Greene, Portugal)
|
| Answer #16: |
-
Even if you are not required to take the TOEFL, it might prove that
you have an excellent command of English. Have you taken the SAT?
(Contact the American Embassy nearest you to get information regarding
dates and locations of the test). If your Verbal score is over 550,
you do not need any other documentation of English fluency, but if
not, try the TOEFL.
Study first and I'm sure you will do well.
