In Gourman's Guide to Graduate Programs, the only California schools recommended for social welfare/social work are: Berkeley USC UCLA This does not mean that there are no other schools with fine programs. Contact all the schools in the geographical area you desire. If they have graduate programs in social welfare/social work, ask for the names of the professors and students who would be willing to describe the program to you. Direct links to the web sites and e-mail addresses of these and other schools can be found on the EDUFAXResources page. EDUFAX provides services for the Graduate School Applicant.
