I am interested in being a student athlete. However, I also want to attend an academically sound college, Tier 1 or 2. Two schools in Tier 4 are interested in me. Both have honors programs. Would do you advise?

Answer #74:

If your grades and academic accomplishments will enable you to be admitted to a Tier 1 or 2 school, you will be bored and dissatisfied, even in an honors program, at a Tier 4 school, no matter how tempting the offer. Remember, for the rest of your life, you will say, "I am a graduate of _______________." Make sure that you say it with pride. EDUFAX provides services for the Collegebound High School Student.
