I got a B in an AP class, but I got a 5 on the test. Which will the colleges consider more important?

Answer #65:

A 5 on an AP test is very impressive, and will be noted when the admissions committee does a first reading on your application. A "B" is still a terrific grade in an AP course, and is considered even better if you took the course in sophomore or junior year. Stop worrying!
