I am a student athlete. What kind of ACT score do I need to get into the college of my choice ?

Answer #55:

Every college, and every sport at every college, has different requirements for the ACT scores of incoming varsity athletes. Some requirements fluctuate annually, because each year it matters which team needs what kind of players and positions. In some schools, there are no concessions made for student athletes, and they must match the standards met by all applicants. The best way to gain specific information is to contact the Athletic Director at each school which interests you. The AD will tell you if he or she can back your candidacy in a way which might have some effect on the Admissions Procedure. EDUFAX provides services for the Collegebound High School Student.
