The EDUFAX Educational FAQ

I am interested in COLLEGE.....

Question #44:
  • My GPA is 3.95. My ACT score is 32. I am highly involved in fine arts. How good are my chances of getting a merit scholarship ?
Answer #44:
  • Colleges offer merit scholarships to students who are in the top 2% of their applicant pool. Your GPA and ACT are terrific. Of course, at the top schools, everyone will have similar credentials. Small liberal arts schools like Occidental in California, Franklin & Marshall in Pennsylvania, Brandeis in Massachusetts and other schools with good endowments and the love of scholarship will go out of their way to finance the education of a serious student. Direct links to the web sites and e-mail addresses of these and many other schools can be found on the EDUFAXResources page. Start calling around to ask what the requirements are for qualifying to receive such grants.
EDUFAX provides services for the Collegebound High School Student.
