The EDUFAX Educational FAQ

I am interested in COLLEGE.....

Question #34:
  • I was interested in the ROTC program to help pay my tuition, since my brother is going into college at the same time I am. What is your advice ?
Answer #34:
  • ROTC can be a fine way to help pay for college. Contact a ROTC office in your area (ask your school guidance office for phone number or address) and they will be happy to provide you with information.
With two children in college at the same time, the expected family contribution diminishes, so your parents might be able to manange tuition simply by qualifying for more federal funds.
Don't forget to consider state schools, which can offer wonderful opportunities at reasonable fees.
EDUFAX provides services for the Collegebound High School Student.
