The EDUFAX Educational FAQ
I am interested in COLLEGE.....
| Question #167: |
- What does the college application deadline refer
to? Is it the last date when one can send the application forms
or is it the last date the college accepts the forms?
|
| Answer #167: |
- The deadline is usually the date by which all application
materials must be received by the college. Most colleges will not
consider applications received after the published deadline,
unless they have been informed of special circumstances.
Some schools indicate, however, that materials must be postmarked
rather than received by the deadline they indicate. Be careful
to read the information carefully so that you can comply with each
school's particular preference.
EDUFAX provides services for the Collegebound High School Student.
