The EDUFAX Educational FAQ

I am interested in COLLEGE.....

Question #161:
  • I am a senior working as a research assistant in a lab at Case Western University. The Professor has offered to write me a letter of recommendation. However, I don't think Case Western will be my first choice. What should I do? (courtesy Christine Seaton, Parma, OH)
Answer #161:
  • A letter of recommendation from a college professor will enhance your application not only to Case Western University, but to any college in the world. You should definitely thank the professor for his/her offer and have the recommendation included with all of your college applications.
You are fortunate to have the opportunity to do college level research while still in high school. It will definitely strengthen your application to let colleges know about this activity.
