Finding the Right Match: Selecting a Private School
Summary & excerpts: This presentation addresses issues and considerations in selecting the most appropriate private school for an individual child. Assessment of student learning styles, faculty teaching strategies, support services, post-secondary goals and financial resources are discussed.

Evaluation of services for students with learning disabilities:
- Before meeting with the support service personnel, review your academic strengths and weaknesses. Be able to explain what services you are using as well as what services you think will be beneficial at an independent school or college. Specific questions should be asked about support services. A detailed checklist (14 detailed items) is provided. Use the checklist as a guideline to discuss the services available to students.
